8 May 2010 – The Scarlet Ball
Restore will hold The Scarlet Ball at Stowe in Buckinghamshire on 8 May 2010 to raise funds for the purchase of a highly sophisticated electron microscope and camera and the fitting out of the research laboratory. The new microscope would be used in the tissue culture laboratory to identify and record colonies of stem cells. This will aid the comparison of progenitor colonies grown from different sources, and provide images suitable for presenting and publishing study results. For further details about the Ball download our flyer from here

Summer 2009 - Freemasons Grant
Restore was privileged to be nominated for a substantial grant from The Freemasons’ Grand Charity to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of the installation of our Patron, HRH The Duke of Kent KG as Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England.
May 2009 - Clay Pigeon Shoot
Restore was the sole beneficiary at a Clay Pigeon Shoot held in May at Chilton, near Aylesbury, by kind permission of Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire. We were blessed with glorious weather and raised over £5000 for the charity
November 2008 - Everest Base Camp
Amanda Nicholson, a Trustee, and Sally Grant embarked on a once in a lifetime trek to Everest Base Camp, raising a substantial sum both for Restore and Dreams Come True. This challenging undertaking saw them climbing to 18,000 ft above sea level and braving rugged terrain including rock-strewn precipices, rope bridges and icy conditions in what was a truly unforgettable experience.
October 2007 - London Launch & Cartoon Auction
Restore held an event at the Royal Society of Medicine in the presence of our Patron, HRH The Duke of Kent KG FRS to launch the charity’s new identity and present its work. Some of Britain’s best known cartoonists donated original artwork for a cartoon auction to benefit Restore. 70 lots went under the hammer
September 2007 - Clay Pigeon Shoot
Restore was a joint beneficiary at a Clay Pigeon Shoot held in early September in Chilton, near Aylesbury, by kind permission of Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, which was a very entertaining occasion.
May 2007 - Cookery Demonstration
In May 2007 the Trust was joint beneficiary of the proceeds of a cookery demonstration by Stephen Bulmer of the Brook Hall Cookery School held in the grounds of Winslow Hall, by kind permission of Sir Edward Tomkins. Despite the dreadful Bank Holiday weather, this event was very well supported and an enjoyable time was had by those attending.
November 2006 - Opera Evening
The annual Opera evening took place on 14 November 2006 at Milton Keynes Gallery and Theatre. Supporters were able to enjoy viewing the work of Mexican artist Carlos Amorales at the gallery during a champagne reception, followed by Glyndebourne Touring Opera’s superb performance of Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss II.
